OWN,
Nice house! I really like what you did. I am amazed that it is on a flat lot. Your house is definitely designed by somebody that has done this a few times as it is so well thought out. Our covenants say that the detached garage can't be larger than your house, but I also want my garage right off the drive way and not in the back. So, I think that I will have to figure a way out to hook it into the house.
Chpthrl,
Thanks for the insurance tip!

I will let you know how the wrap holds up. We surf more than anything so we will see. It has held up great so far with only the cover cinching down on the corners. Didn't think about it till it was too late and left some marks. So we put some felt on the inside of the cover corners. But the wrap is pretty tough. I am paranoid about it so when we tie up, I have 6 bumpers down each side. All I need is some old tires and I would be set like an old fishing boat!
Luckily, I have freinds in high places at a lot of companies so to build it wasn't too bad. Or the real boss, my wife would have not let me build it. Of course, it is for the company! To pull the boat. She knows me too well so she doesn't buy that stuff anymore.
