    Don't worry, it'll be ok.

Speaking of trucks, anybody see one of those new Dodge trucks with the Benz Blutec Diesel engine? Talk about sweet. That thing is unbelievably quiet, clean and fuel efficient.

Check it out: http://www.dieselnet.com/news/2007/01daimler.php. I'd seriously consider getting one of those...even if it is a Dodge.

The new cummins does not get near the mileage of the old 5.9ls. In fact the new aftertreatment systems (bluetec) are hurting the mileage on everyones trucks. Not to mention the problems that are cropping up due to them. The ulsd even decreased the mileage of my 5.9 by about 5%

The sanding rock that Bend Oregon puts out during the winter is volcanic and red in color. BTW nice rig.
That road is actually inside of Zion Canyon National Park and there are a few other areas in Southern Utah where the asphalt is red due the red crushed rock.

Tow ratings are about to get standardized, long overdue IMHO. I have a Ford Explorer and it is rated for like 5000 lbs.. and I can tell towing my <4k boat no way it should rated to tow that amount. My new truck is rated for almost 10k and that also is BS. Watch all the ratings get reduced after this takes effect. http://www.pickuptruck.com/html/stor...ing/page1.html

That's great, I'm all for it.
I feel confident with my Ford 1 ton.

That just solved my reason for not getting a diesel...I could see myself driving one of those.

Nice rides guys. I too am a GM guy, my first truck was an 1985 chevy pickup that I ran into the ground in high school and college, then I bought my dads 1985 chevy suburban and drove that for a few years. Then in 2001 I bought my first new vehicle, this Yukon. I love my Yukon, I have 77K on it now and plan on driving it till 100K. The new ones are sweet but they are REALLY proud of them! Who knows, maybe in a few years they will even have the Yukon Hybrid thing all worked out and I can save a few bucks on gas.

GM for me as well, I like GMC's and the Bowties, here are our two tow rigs. I like the feel towing with the truck better it's more comfortable and It usually always stays hooked up to the Tige' ready to go at a moments notice. The Yukon doubles as a nice snack bar at boarding comps. Notice the tige' cooler bag on the ground!

                          Scoot,
When I see that tan creamy color I cringe to think what it would look like on a boat, but your boat proves me wrong. You really pulled off that color combo!

                          BTW, nice Tige trailer hitch.

Is that your new trailer? If not, have you gotten the new one yet and how is it working for you.
