Boat Trashed after taking it to local shop (PICTURES)

Well as im sure you all know, last week of wakeboarding till needing to evacuate the waters, I had blew my motor. Well take it over to a shop my neighbor had recommended and its the worst! Battery, dead from leaving all the switches on. Key ignition, tore out. Parked under a tree, yes! Light pole, broken. Interior, destroyed. Engine, Still not fixed! Also missing sparkplugs which means, WHAT WIRES GO TO WHAT PLUG???. this is complete So we are taking it to Performance water sports that cant do any better! prices are high but worth it. All I know our engine rebuild, turned into a bigger bill.

Rain water... They didnt put the cover on untill this morning... sat without it for a month.

they would have to choices fix it or see you in court. you should post their name and location and warn every boat owner you can about them. i would never dream of giving a boat back to my customer looking like that. now if you did not give him a cover that would be a little different story. but if you gave him the cover and he didnt cover your boat thats neglect and he should pay to have it cleaned/fixed. if you didnt give him the cover its not really is job to provide one for you and it would be a bit of a different story. im so sorry this happend. i hope it works out for you.

I have a couple of questions unrelated to the stank on your boat.

Where does Tige' find seat post that short? The shortest ones I can locate online are 9". That looks like about a 5".

What is that red power wire running through the engine compartment?

That is sad. I am having a hard time with the Cracked interior though. That looks to me like it is heat damage from sitting untreated with some sort of softening agent for a lot more time than a month.

I as KKO says. I would see him in court. The big mistake you made though is taking the boat out of there with out any kind of paper work or documentation stating the condition in which it left his lot. Pictures are good but the pictures are not taken on his lot and do not have his business or storage yard in the back ground.

It is terrible this happened to you. I hope it works out. I would never do that to my own boat and for sure not a customers boat. And if they did not leave me a cover I would ask for one when the boat was dropped off. If they did not have one it would be noted on the paper work for the service invoice to protect my business.

red wire is amp... im gonna move it that was just to get through the summer. I bought the wrong length
