What is funny is that as bad as WW can be some days, if you want a real eye opener, take a look at Wakeboarder.com

It is so pathetic, makes WW look good by comparison.

I have gotten into the habit of checking peoples age in their profile before even wasting my time to respond to their idiotic posts... Nothing like a bored 14 year old with the internet...

please never link me to that site again. i wanna choke some tards out right now. i love people that bash a boat they have never seen, drove or used. it friggin kills me. makes me want to drown them. i have not been on that site much i dont think my heart can take it. i like to visit all the sites to learn what i can about other brands and get different points of view but i dont think i can visit that site on a regular basis.

ya... my thoughts exactly... That site blows, and if I translated right, even the mod was in on the action...

I hope Tige reads this and pulls there ad's from that site, clearly the site is not working for them, well maybe if they dumbed up the link to the website so those illiterates could understand a bit about the boats, that might help!...

seems like they have issues with easy comprehension and reading.

I ran from wakeboarder & Erik Jernberg (or whatever his name is)about a year ago, and now I find it hard to go to WW. I don't post there often because of the idiots that it attracts. Someone is always bagging on someone else's boat or riding style.

no offense to wannabe and any of the other youngins out there, but its all demographics. Present company excluded, many of these teenagers' daddies forked out wads of cash for whatever would suit the family's needs. All of a sudden, jr. is an expert on wake boats! He's got a cool boat and so his friends think that he knows everything about wakeboard boats... and how could they be wrong?

I've seen it over and over and over. The bottom line is that you're not going to go wrong with any of the established inboard manufacturers. I qualified that with the word "established" because Epic does show a lot of promise- they just need to work out their first few years' kinks, build up an owner base, and establish a dealer network.

Now, with all that said... Tigé has an opportunity with the Z1 to make it a true rider's boat... and sell the heck out of it! The boat I saw had vinyl lettering saying $49,999 (i.e. under 50k), as is. That includes tandem trailer (with discs on all four!), BALLAST, wetsounds (incl. tower), 340hp, and graphics. Pushing this setup for under 50k is probably the best thing that Tigé could do with this boat! I'm really anxious to see what the wake is like. If its anything like I'm thinking, they've got a real winner on their hands.

Now if they'd change those dang doors on the engine compartment!

Oh... and from what I'm told, those cheap plastics on the glove box door and dash are just prototypes, and will most likely be billet- like the RZ2. If not, I'll just machine a bunch of them and sell my own!

Not everyone over there is terrible. There are a few good people that post and there is a lot that think their boat or accessory brand is all that. I remember that they were complaining about the cupholders in the new Z1.

Just play with the punches and role with the blows.

Sean beat me to it, wakeboarder.com is a full of some very sharp minds!! That forum is crazy, and the moderator Erik is a complete basher of Tige, and he has another site called wakeboard report or something. The guy is an idiot, goes to show you that the site has got to be terrible if there mods are that bad!

I think Austin summed it up well with that statement. Couldnt agree more. IM0, posting any picture of a non weighted Tige wake is going to be open for severe criticism. Most people on that forum are used to seeing/riding a WB boat with 2800 pounds of ballast even though most have a riding abilitly that does not justify the need for that much weight.

Having been on that forum for a few years I have noticed that Tige have received a lot of criticsim for the "No ballast" slogan. IMO, I think the confusion is that they think Tiges dont need any ballast and they dont offer it.

Unfortunately that is the nature of the Internet. There will always be anonymous trolls who sit behind message board names with no credibility to back up their comments.

Yep. I haven seen that too. He seems to always post negative comments about Tiges.

I do have to say that WW is a good forum, you just have to weed through the BS.

Jernberg has historically bashed Tige. Recently, I remember being surprised when he did pay a complement to Tige, so he might be coming around a little. I stopped going to wakeboarder.com a long time ago. There is never really any meaningful dialogue there.

On WW, there are a few stereo guys who are very bright and put out some high powered systems. If I had any questions, I would read their responses and take their advice seriously. But now, as the site has grown, more people have moved in and I can't tell who is full of crap, and you cannot keep people from Hijacking the threads. I like listening to "G" (grant west) and Mikeski, as well as a few others.

Now that we have a small group of experts here, I rarely find a need to ask questions over there.
                          Be excellent to one another.

I agree, both these guys are great with stereo questions.

In the wakesurfing area, you have Surfdad, Jerry Price, Edward J. Sullivan, and a few others that offer some great advices to the sport. I have NEVER seen any of these guys bash boards, boats, ...

Reading the links from the posts in this thread was my first introduction to WW. I had to scratch my head reading some of those posts.

I really like this site. Everyone is mature (now that "you know who" is gone) and post great responses. I could never have been as comfortable with my boat with out a lot of help from some folks here, I really appreciate the answers I get. I think I'll stay here after reading those posts.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

                                1. My family is not rich by anymeans, Working with the boat we got, we don't have and 50k boat, just friends with them

                                2. I would say I know quite a bit more than the average teenager about wakeboard boats. And No, I dont think I know everthing about any wakeboat.

Not saying that you said this about me, just stating it.
