Looking for a replacement tracking fin or two

My nearest tige dealer is a couple of hours away and I am not in a hurry because I have all winter to look for a good deal.
I need a replacement tracking fin or two for my 02 21v...
Lesson learned is that when loading the boat on the trailer when it is full of people is to ballance them out and make them sit and stay. If more people are on one side as you are pulling it out the tracking fins can get caught on the bunk and fold it over and bending it back breaks it.
It would also help to have an experienced truck driver that listens and stops when they are told to...
Let me know if you have any leads!
    Thanks,
    Ray

      here you go

These guys seem to have everything. Give them a call. I ordered three fins for a friend who owns a Sanger from there and Sanger told him the only way to get them is to buy it from them.

Isn't that how Lunchbox lost his baby in the drink (by losing a fin)?
You're lucky it was during loading onto the trailer and not in the water.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

No time lost on the water... in fact you cant really tell its missing! Snapped it off clean trying to straighten it and the plate is still there. The sinking can happen when you catch something at speed, I am glad the hull is strong enoug to survive something like this, it would have pushed a hole in alot hulls. The weight of the boat plus I probably had 8 people in it.
Here is an idea... somebody make some that are engineered to break away! Just a score between the fin and the plate would do!
No luck with the first suggestion... at least on the site. Have not called the second yet, boat down for the winter.

I saw some of these online a while back. I will see if I can find a link.

Season back on so the search resumes... Elberts did not have one in stock and wanted $115 plus shipping.
I am thinking of fabbing one out of stainless or aluminum at that price!
Let me know if you find a link!

I would try a marine salvage as they have parts for all types of boats.

You can have them repaired by a matine prop shop. I bent mine up pretty good and they fixed them.

It is not bent... well it was... at about a 45 degree angle and when I tried to bend it back it snapped off.
Maybe it could be brazed back on there but I kinda doubt it would come out right.

Why don't you have your Tige dealer order it and have them drop shipped to your house? Sure will beat driving to the dealer and back. I just did that with my trailer jack that busted when I brought my 2007 20V home. I wasn't going to chase for a couple of hours for the replacement.

I agree with Band still. They can solder that fin back. Hope you didn't throw away pieces already.
