            2000 21i R

Whats up everyone? Here is a pic of my 2000 21i R, I just got it about a month ago and I've been out a couple times now despite the cold temps (well cold for us California boys anyway). I'm getting ready to do a big upgrade to the stereo system and also add in perfect pass.

I'm hoping there will be a few more people from So Cal that get on this site, I normally cruise out to Lake Perris every weekend for a couple hours in the morning with a couple buddies. It would be cool to link up with some other Tige owners.

So I guess my pic is a bit big for the site....I'll have to get one that is a bit smaller and get it up here.

Hey Sammamish22V, nice rig... what motor do you have in the X-5? How does it pull? Big time fan, trying to get the wife to trade the 330cic in on one...

Great looking boat, if I was choosing colors for mine that is exactly what I would have chosen.

I have the 4.4 and it pulls great. I pull it over the passes up here in Washington at 75 no problem...and this is a heavy boat! The transmission is incredible, you don't even feel the car shifting. It actually pulls better than my Denali XL, but it gets pulled around a little more due to the short wheel base.

I went from the 740IL to the X5 and absolutely love it. It is as fast as the 740 and handles just as good, if not better. I upgraded the shocks and suspension, so it handles like a sports car now. I got tired of switching over 3 kids seats every time I wanted to tow the boat or go up in the mountains, but I didn't want to lose the luxury/sport car feel I had with the 740. Go test drive one, I think your wife will love it.

Thanks for the compliments Jeff! I love the color combo too. Surprisingly, the black color is very easy to take care of. All I ever do is wipe it down when we are done and wax it once or twice a year.
