    Ballast set up in 22v

What is everyone using(or have used) for an aftermarket ballast set up in a 06 22v. I don't want something huge, just trying to make it longer and a little bigger. I don't have stock ballast right now.

For boarding or surfing? I know there is a little diff between the V and the Ve hull, but for less then $500, I got 2 400# v-drive sacs for the rear and the integrated bow sac (holds about 500#'s) for the front.

For surfing, I have a 700# surf sac (>$200) and 1 of the 400#'ers thrown on top. If we only have 2-3 people, I throw the other 400 in the seat. This is the best our surf wake has been so far, now weight in the front.

I'm using two 350-lb sacks in the rear lockers (total if 700lbs in the rear). In the front, I typically run a single 540-lb sack in the walkway, but I sometimes run another 350-lb sack in addition to it.

I use the same setup for both surfing and wakeboarding- just different TAPS settings- down for surfing and up for wakeboarding.

i'd be using it mostly for wakeboarding. i was thinking this sack up front http://buywake.com/catalog/detail/FL_vX2n1 and then i'm not sure about the back yet.

Has anyone used that bag up front?

          I'd go with this-
          http://buywake.com/catalog/detail/FL_Zgywr

with the space available under the seats in the bow, you'll get at least 500lbs. That far forward, 500lbs is a good place to start. Plus, you dont give up your bow seating area. If you want to add more after that, you can still do that.

I'd balance out with 500-700lbs in the back. Also play with your TAPS plate to tune the lip of the wake.

Another thing you might want to try is scout your local Jenny Craig office for ballast canditates. Bring ho-hos and haagen-daas in the boat to help move the weight around. Just make sure its during the week, so your friends dont see you.

I dont think so, the Tige bow sac is just like the flyhi, just made to fit the bow dimensions.

The dealer we bought from wanted to sell us an 05 22V that they had (and still have ) and I dont remember a division up there.

They are connected, so Ruune's idea would work...

I use those and they are perfect for the rear compartments.
                      Be excellent to one another.

No, but get the Tsunami pump with the fly-hi quick-connects, they run around $99. Dont get the skylon one, runs about $70. Cord is too short to reach from dash to rear storage (not a prob for me as I already had an acc. plug back there) and my plug melted down after about 2 months

The quick-connects are worth the price alone as they dont leak and you dont have to sit there and hold the hose/pump in the sac. They only spew a little when you disconnect.
