Heck Yeah TRD, My wife wore a wetsuit top last week when we were out. I'll probably start wearing one soon too. I lived in the Washington, DC area for a long time and went to school in Maine for a year. I kayaked all year long even in -15 temps when water would freeze to the deck of my kayak, made eskimo rolls fun!!! I can say my blood has definitely gotten used to the warm weather as 70 is now plenty cool for me.

I know mtnsmith will back me up (he isn't from Fla) but after you live there awhile it does something to you, you get cold easier. I use to where a wetsuit down there in the winter time also. When I first learned to waterski at my brothers in RI the water temp was 55° and they thought is was great. It was freezing to me. In the winter the water never got THAT cold and I must say I am as far north as I plan on going.
wannabewakeboarder, we go out on New Years Day for a ski run and I don't think the water is that cold but I didn't get to go last year.
BTW the water temp was 41* on the mississippi river front, infront of the St.Louis Arch. The sun never sets on a badass

I noticed when talking about degree's I see different symbols after the number (ex. 44*). Here is how you can make a ( ° ) symbole in the future if you like.
hold down the ALT key and hit 0176 on the keypad and this ° will appear. I have to do a lot of gd&t symbol w/ the work I do so I know a few of these.

We moved from Chicago to Pensacola, FL during early January. We rolled out the car wearing tees and shorts. People thought we lost our minds, they were seriously wearing winter coats. It was like high 50's low 60's.
I can relate.
btw...the blood thinning is a wives tale, you get acclimatized, but nothing changes with the blood or its viscosityOther than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?
