Know what you mean. TRD went out with us on Sunday for a few surf runs. Due to low lake levels and most weekends being booked, this may be the last trip out for awhile. Plus I need to get my ballast installed at some point.
Hope you don't mind if I post a couple pics
It was a little cool, but all in all a great day
Air temp 70*
water temp 74*
winds 12mph.
Wouldn't be surprised if there is a surfboard under the Xmas tree at the TRD house this year.Attached FilesMikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

By the way, I have a friend you haven't met yet that keeps his boat in a heated garage. W/ some ballast we could get his boat to push a good wake I'm sure. Just an idea for later on in the year...Last edited by TRD; 10-30-2007, 12:56 AM.Dale

Just remember when you live in a cold climate your blood is thicker. When you are use to warmer weather you blood thins out. I have never liked cold water. The lake we go to in the summer the water temp is about 90° easy. That is great for me, most others don't likes it but that is what I like. I know mtnsmith will back me up (he isn't from Fla) but after you live there awhile it does something to you, you get cold easier. I use to where a wetsuit down there in the winter time also. When I first learned to waterski at my brothers in RI the water temp was 55° and they thought is was great. It was freezing to me. In the winter the water never got THAT cold and I must say I am as far north as I plan on going.
wannabewakeboarder, we go out on New Years Day for a ski run and I don't think the water is that cold but I didn't get to go last year.Dale
