Hard to say Moki.......As soon as now, but usually we get it heavy by December...

There is a saying here in New England..."If you don't like the weather, wait a minute, it will change."

Know what you mean. TRD went out with us on Sunday for a few surf runs. Due to low lake levels and most weekends being booked, this may be the last trip out for awhile. Plus I need to get my ballast installed at some point.

Hope you don't mind if I post a couple pics

It was a little cool, but all in all a great day
                Air temp 70*
                water temp 74*
                winds 12mph.

Wouldn't be surprised if there is a surfboard under the Xmas tree at the TRD house this year.

Thanks for the plug. Had the wife read it 2x's just in case she didn't get it the 1st time. LOL. Had a great time. Thanks for the ride, if you get a chance to go out after Thanksgiving I may be up for that. We might have to find a heated lake by that time. I know where we can find a dry suit to use.
By the way, I have a friend you haven't met yet that keeps his boat in a heated garage. W/ some ballast we could get his boat to push a good wake I'm sure. Just an idea for later on in the year...

Water is 74 and you're wearing a dry suit!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Come to Wisconsin bro, we'll put that suit to good use.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

That's TRD, he's a Floridian For us, the water is just right, but the 12mph winds, while out of the water and wet, made it a little brisk.

Just remember when you live in a cold climate your blood is thicker. When you are use to warmer weather you blood thins out. I have never liked cold water. The lake we go to in the summer the water temp is about 90° easy. That is great for me, most others don't likes it but that is what I like. I know mtnsmith will back me up (he isn't from Fla) but after you live there awhile it does something to you, you get cold easier. I use to where a wetsuit down there in the winter time also. When I first learned to waterski at my brothers in RI the water temp was 55° and they thought is was great. It was freezing to me. In the winter the water never got THAT cold and I must say I am as far north as I plan on going.
wannabewakeboarder, we go out on New Years Day for a ski run and I don't think the water is that cold but I didn't get to go last year.
