    21i versus 21V

I just sold my TIGE '99 2100i and i am considering a TIGE '99 21 V-drive. One of my concerns was the bow being so. I am thinking the v-drive would also be more capable of a chop.

It looks like the V-drive has more of a deeper bow??? Is this accurate, does anyone know if the V-drive will sit higher, stay dryer??

I am also looking at a 2000 centurion elite v-drive. Would anybody have any opinions as far as comparison between these two. Would one be better than the other and why??????

    Thanks..

The V front sits a bit higher out of the water and will be slightly less likely to get you wet from my experience. It also handles rough water a bit better IMO.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

There is a big differance in the ride and steering of a tige and centurion , you will notice a drone from the centurion due to its deck not being part of the hull , next everyone i have tested would list heavly to the right while under way. But by all means drive both.

I have the 21v and it is the dryest boat I have had. Handles rough water great. You can still go bow under a wake if you are not careful, but it has to be a big one. Don't know about the Centurion, but the Tige handles better than an X30.

The 21v and 21i for that year model will have the same issues with the bow. The hull is essentially the same for both boats. As laserfish said, you can bury the bow on any boat.
