    Another October wakeboarding/glassy water thread

I got to go out today. The water was awesome. Went out early in the morning, so it was chilly, but drysuit works perfectly. Went out with some great boarders so I got some pics of guys who actually know how to ride.

My little lake now has a water temp of 59 degrees...BRRRRR.

I heard from chpthrl that the best way to load pics is via photobucket and then just hypertext them or whatever it is called. Be patient if my pics are not showing up like they are supposed to. My upload speeds are pretty slow, so I am not sure I save any time doing that. I have one of those ISP's that have download 3X faster than upload or something to that effect.

We put my 24V with 1200 pounds of ballast, pretty well split 50/50 front to back and put the TAPS up all the way. The guys I went with are pretty experienced riders and strongly complemented my wake. One of them is taking a position teaching at The Wakeboard Camp beginning in November. They were able to get big air. Too bad I mistimed the photo on the guy who got some of the biggest double up air I have ever seen.

Let's see how this pic comes from a big whirlybird:

That works pretty sweet to just transfer pics over from Photobucket!

    A tantrum:

And a nice grab here, notice which side of the wake he took off from:

Ranger John (&*&^^%$$) decided to come over and give me a boat inspection. He told me that the state parks have a noise ordinance and that my music was too loud, because he could hear it on the shore. It was hard not to be irritated. We started at 9 am, so I really don't think we were waking anybody up.

And some very big air on the double up to finish the pics.

      Be excellent to one another.

Here is what the lake looked like as I was driving away.

Overall, a great morning on the water. The Tige continues to impress me. The wake is outstanding and so far reliability has been terrific. When the water gets below 50 degrees it will be time to stop. The feet get too cold and the hands turn to iceblocks. I think I am good to go until Thanksgiving.

I still haven't bought a new camera, but the old Olympus can take some pretty good shots. I hope to get a Rebel in the near future to have something that I can take several shots per second and I won't miss the huge double up like this one: I think you get the idea if you check his trajectory...

        Be excellent to one another.

WOW that's some big air....... I can't belive the water temp has drooped 10+ degrees sine the cold water....

I can only dream of getting that much air

            Different lake.

I'll be going to Mead this weekend and it should still be pretty nice. I hope to have some shots to rival Tall's.

              Nice Pics Tall!!!

It looks like the water and the company doesn't get any better than that! We need those guys to come to the reunion and hold a clinic!

I got to start using that Photobucket place. Your and Cheapthrl's pics are such better quality.

PS Does that ranger qualify as a slinky? That's amazing that you got pulled over for that.

Dude, those look really nice, how many people did you have on the boat?

How did I miss the boat? Looks like you just wakeboarded, any surfing?

Not the best pics, but this is one of the guys that was supposed to show at this year's. His wedding is this weekend so he couldn't make it. Pics are from a Wed afternoon this summer.

                          Great shots!
It doesn't look like there is anyone to wake up no matter what time you were playing your music.
You should have played the bad boys, bad boys, theme song.

                            SIREN

Tall you should have played the SIREN when you saw him coming at you.

He might have been nicer to you. He probably would not of been able to quit laughing. Nice Pictures.

We my wife and I went out yesterday for the last run of the year with our boat. Work is getting crazy.

She was putting my wake board into the boat and she lost her grip. She stuck her foot out to try and break the fall of the board. Bad idea. I think the foot repairs are going to costing more than the most expensive CWB board and bindings. We will find out tomorrow. She still rode around the lake with me to burn off a little gas. This way we won't get the over flow problem this next year when it warms up. Also we were able to get some of the fuel stabilizer into the fuel system.

She is the best wife and I feel horrible. Now here dance classes and aerobic class are over for a while. She just smiles about it and is mad at her self for putting her foot out to save a board.
