    Mirror dilema

So I won one of the Dbot5 mirror mounts at the Lake Mead reunion this weekend. My problem is that the barrel arm to mount the mirror to is a very small diameter and the bracket on my current mirror is too big to fit. I really want to get my mirror off the windshield so I want the bracket, guess its time for a new mirror unless someone can help me out with how to make a 3/8" diameter stay in a 3/4" bracket. It's a rough dilemma I know
    Honey I'm home!

If you have access to a mill or a lathe you can make something. If not do you know anyone who does, they can make work for you, take them out for an afternoon ride in trade.

adjust it where you want it and fill the gap with epoxy, sand the excess smooth so it looks decent
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

If I get you correctly, the arm is too small for the mirror?
        That’s an easy fix.
Bushing. All you need is a bras bushing with an ID of 3/8 and an OD of ¾.
Should be able to get any good hardware store.
Tige, it's a way of life!

Post some pics of your dilemma.

When we where pulling off the water Sat afternoon, Matt was asking who won the mirrors cause he forgot something. May want to give him a shout and see.

Maybe you need more time to think about how much this will benefit you....

The offer is still on the table if you change your mind...

I've thought about it some more and have decided you're right. What do I need with a mirror bracket anyway. I'll just have my spotter hold it for me.

Hey, if you're spotter looked like this, you wouldn't be looking in the mirror anyways:
