Well...ok....if you don't want to spend the extra for a trailer then I can see buying one of these.....but personally I would spring for the trailer and buy a Tigé.

Hey now I lived in my TIGE for a week when we went to Scout Camp at Huntington Lake. It was real nice and comfy. I just pull the cover over the boat and slept on the long bench. No problems. I used the cooler in the boat for my food and drinks and refilled the ice each day with ice from the chow hall ice machine. It was great.

For some reason I don't think that boat would be as comfy as the TIGE though.

The advertisements for my fishing boat show them cutting it in half, just in front of the center console with a chain saw and it won't sink.

You'd be surprised how resilient that fiberglass is. If our Tiges didn't have the tracking fins, strut, prop, shaft and rudder underneath, you could probably do it with them, too.

Yeah I kind of tested this theory out... See my "Heartbroken" Thread.

I'll tell you what, aside from knocking the fin out and taking on water and capsizing (which took a while) there is not much damage to the gel coat or the fiberglass. Tige boats are tough... I would not suggest anyone try what I did...
