    Questions on rz4,color, and tower

I went and looked at an RZ4 this weekend, and was wonder if you guys could help answer some questons for me.

How bad will black look on a boat if it never gets wiped off after use(the only black is the side panel, hull and middle section are yellow). I put my boat in a hoist after every use and it makes it almost impossible to wipe down.

How much raddeling happens in the Z tower, the tower on my 22v is horrible.

Does any have problems with the board racks on the Z tower. I don't like how they don't lock in place when folded in and the screw for them is a little poorly designed.

Has anyone had problems with the kicker amps heating up to much and not being able to handle four wet sounds on the tower?

The Z is very solid. Do you need to put the tower down to hoist it? I hear it is painful to put down.

Black - needs to be cleaned.

You must be looking at a boat already created...for a purchase that large you could just swap out the amps if needed.
    Be excellent to one another.

you will need to wipe the black down after ever use if you want it to look like anything good.

Especially if you have hard water wherever you are. I have a dark blue hull and it shows every little spot that is left on it. I have heard the z-tower is very solid though. Amp wise, it all depends which kicker amps they are and which wetsounds you are talking about, that can always be changed though.

How much fadding will occur on the black? My friend got a red rz2 at the begining of the summer and it has pretty much fadded to pink. I guess i doesn't bother me if the black doesn't look like brand new all the time and you can see water spots but i would have a problem if it was going to fade fast.

I won't need to fold the tower at all.

It also has the 400hp engine in it, I heard that had problems while it was in the vett, have they fixed that for the tige? Does any one else have this engine in their RZ4 w/ tiges ballast? What kind of mileage do you get out of it?

It shouldn't fade at all. He probably just needs to clean the boat. I'm in the same situation as you where the boat is in a slip which prevents me from being able to keep the hull clean. My boat may look faded, but as soon as you knock the water spots off it starts to shine again right away.

I don't have black, I have red and gray 2005 24V. You said a red boat faded after one year and I believe that to be a defect and not a normal circumstance. Can you have your friend send in a picture?

                    When I first got it.

I'm not sure if this will really do justice. The boat has fadded so bad you can't really even tell if it is pink. I have always wanted a pink one!
                    Here is mid season.

lighting is different. Sorry spenc only ones I got.

ya that really doesn't do that justice since that pic was taken a long time ago. I'll look if your boat is still in the hoist when I go there wednesday.

If your boat is fading, then you didn't wax it or wipe it after each use. My boat's a '99 that's red and it hasn't faded at all. I do have some scuff marks from careless boarders on the transom, but that's about it.

It's sorta impossible to when it's in a hoist all the time.

I have a black and gray RZ2 and haven't experienced any fading but it's stored indoors and I wipe it down every time it's pulled out of the water. I haven't had any issues with water spots either, I have some good stuff that I spray the boat with each time.

We use 3m UV blocking boat wax after a quick spray and wipe with 50% vinegar and water.
