Did you say you do some camping up there? I am towing my boat up for a weekend of camping and boarding. We are staying at Hidden Valley near the Damn. Any rocks or stumps on the lake. I hear its deep and cold. Breaking out the wetsuit. Also what's the easiest way to trailer there?

I hiked through there, but never boated on that lake. Sounds like a good time. We try to go to Joccassee once a year but could not get there. This weekend was our last chance but could not put it together.

Directions: We drive that way to Nantahala, but stop just past Bryson City. We usually Take I40 West past Asheville, then Take NC 74/23 (through Waynesville and Sylva) toward Bryson City. From there, looks like you would want to take NC 28. DO NOT TAKE NC 19!!!!!
