[QUOTE=evil0ne;100531]A seal or an otter wouldn't scare me. Would you be too scared to swim with dolphins too?

HELL YEAH I'd be too scared!!! I'm not swimming with anything!!! I'll take my lumps, go ahead call me a sissy or a chicken....I'm fine w' that.
I'm not swimming with any animals , not seals, beavers, sea lions, otters, tigers....Nothing. Fish and turtles (smaller than me) in fresh water I'm fine with. Other than that, paint some feathers on me cause I'm chicken.

I would have looked like Jesus walking in water if that thing touched me. The sonic boom from me getting back to the boat at mach 3 would have been heard for miles.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

The Bull Shark has been known to swim up into fresh water rivers as SP has said. However, I haven't heard of anything regarding sharks in the Sacramento River. Now, Otters, Seals, and an occational Humpback Whale I have heard about being up here but no sharks. I would be more concerned about the whale and it's calf but you would have never been given the chance to get that close to the whale with a boat. The Coast Guard would have shut you down very quickly.

My GF boards and when her children tell her that there is a fish swimming towards her to eat her, she is doing Mach 3 like Jason B would be doing. Then her boarding day is done. It's one way to reduce the number of people that want to board on my boat.

Got me!? I have no idea what's in there. Don't fish..I'm scared to touch the worms. j/k
I've never heard of a Pike attack or a Muskee attack so I think I'm probably safe there. There's definitely nothing big enough to push me around.

              Be afraid, be very afraid...

Actually they are harmless and they are only known to exist out of the whole world in Utah Lake and lower Provo river which empties into Utah Lake. There used to be a lot but now other fish like Carp are taking over their habitat and they are on the endangered species list.

We got those jumping asian carp in the rivers around here and those scare you enough when they nearly jump in the boat!
Both me and my dads friend were hit by those on the Illinoise river.

                    SEAL

                    OTTER
didn't look like either one of these. The one I saw was all black and big. Like I said it did bump me, but that was it. After it did that I wasn't to afraid of it at all. I figure it wanted fish to eat and not me. The thing did follow us around for a few but then it just swam away somewhere.

When I was about 17, I was surfing in Ventura at a place called California St. It was a week day, and was almost alone. I loved surfing, but being a member of the jaws generation, I was never fully comfortable. One day, I was dropping in on a 5-6ft wave, and I saw a large dorsal fin and a grey shape next to me. I have never had fear like that. I LITERALLY sh*t in my pants. Salt water brown trout. It made me shake and I fell off my board. Wave tumbled me, and I thought I was going to get eaten, got my head up and it was a dolphin.

That wetsuit needed a GOOD cleaning.

Dude I'm the same way... I can't stand touching worms, fish, bugs, any of that stuff... Must be a WI thing because me and Jason are from the same county...

Now that is too damn funny... I would have done the same thing... I would have never gotten back in the water...

My wife and I are going on a cruise to the Caribbean this winter and she asked me if I wanted to swim with a dolphin and I told her to go jump off a bridge... There's no way I'm getting near anything like that if I'm not forced into a situation like tigeblue was, let alone pay $75 to do it!

yes this is it! This is the type I saw.

I really didn't feel like I was in danger at all. Well after I got bumped maybe a little. But like I said if it wanted to hurt me it would have.

We all went into the water that whole day and were never bothered by it again. I bet it wanted to board
