I have always been very happy with the wake on my Tige, it is a 2005 22i.
I have never used ballast, but have often had it loaded up with friends, gear, coolers, etc. With a full boat, at 75 feet and 21 MPH, the wake is enormous (To me)
What I am most happy with though is the wake size with an empty boat, which is really how I ride most of the time. This picture is my boat with no ballast, no gear, my wife driving, and my 13 year old daughter spotting. TAPS set at 6.
The picture is on a crappy $50 digital, but it is something.
I admit that I need to slow the boat down in order to get a reasonable wake, this is at 19 mph, although frankly I suspect my Cruise reads a little low. I would guess this is actually closer to 20 or 21 mph. I have never put a GPS on it.
I also shortened the rope up to 70 ft just to make it easier for me to clear the wake without having to cut super hard. At this speed the wake is pretty wide at 75 feet. I can go W2W at 75 Feet, but it is a hard cut for me, and I am still learning the 'POP' thing.
I admit that when I just have my wife and kids in the boat, I try to take it easy. All those posts about riders getting knocked unconscious on easy falls makes me nervous about them being able to haul my lard A$$ out of the water should something happen.
Anyway, I love my wake, it is nice and rampy, good for a beginner like me. Here is a decent shot of me clearing the wake. For comparison, I am 6 ft., 220 lbs.

card on that photo. Not because of the size of the wake, but because of the difference in perspective between the wake and the boarder. The zoom and focus do not look the same. Also something funky about the tree line and sky
