    Thats a different 6.2L, based off the Gen III platform. Think of it as the LS-1 vs the LT-1 corvette engine. Same displacement, no common parts.

      Fic, I said that Indmar takes the 350 (5.7L) and makes it a 383(6.2L). This engine is also known as the "hammerhead". They do this by taking the standard 3.48 inch stroke to a 3.8 inch stroke. It also has a nitride crank and stainless steel valves and retainers.

        FIC, WHAT WAS PRONE TO FAILURE ON THE HAMMERHEAD?

          The early ones were having rod failure and or rod bearing failure but I havent noticed any problems in quite awhile so Im sure they must of cured those problems.

            They had exlent low in torque but didnt like hi rpm do to the larger stroke.
