    WB Boat Layout Comparison

I have been thinking about if it would be worth trading up to the RZ4 next year, and so I was messing around, and thought you guys might want to see these side by side. You can really see how the bu got the massive cockpit by pushing the windshield forward, and you can also see the MC got more room in the bow by keeping the windshield back a bit. The RZ4 looks like a good balance. I SWEAR if the RZ4 had the ladder up front, I would pull the trigger in the spring. Crazy how one little feature can put you over the edge. Nice cupholders in the RZ4.

These are all the 24 foot boats by the way, from left to right:

    bu 247, RZ4, 24Ve, MC X45.

The bu is 24'7", and the x45 is 24'2", and the tiges are 24'.

    Thats a great Comparison!!

I am surprised bu how much room the pickle fork gives you in the Bow. Very Impressive.

The MC looks small in the interior, the Bu looks huge. Nice Job, Thanks.

      Very telling

That really brings the whole picture into a very clear view, great job. I think there is more to come in inovation for maximizing interior space.
If I can be of any help at all, your in deep doo doo!

Look, the RZ4 has cup holders that are not in the walkway...never really noticed that before.

speaking from experience, that X45 has a MASSIVE cockpit area. You get the feeling that one could land a plane in there. That 'bu must be a bohemoth. you could probably run two stripper poles!

Well then, the RZ4 is even bigger. Seems like Tige makes the cockpit bigger than MC on their pickleforks.

I think the Ve's have the best bow seating out there and both Tiges can deff run with the "big dogs"

Another comparison would be the engines. Tige uses Marine Power. The others use Indmar which can deliver up to 450 hp. Also you may want to compare operating and engine manuals.

Okay, you had to go there with the manuals. j/k

Up to 450hp is the 8.1L Big Block. I know Nuckn' wanted that motor but there has to be some reason Tige doesn't offer it. I wonder if he misses not getting it?

We demoed the bu and the mc. The Bu is by all means ginormous in the cockpit, but the bow is DEF tiny, almost unusable. The MC cockpit was big, but the 24Ve cockpit is bigger.

If you like cupholders, the RZ4 has 4 in the bow, and not barred by the playpen cushion, and I can see in the pic, it has 2 on the passenger side by the glove box. I def have to check out the RZ4 this winter, in person.

Last thing, one thing other than the lack of front ladder I don't like in RZ4...

I see why they did that storage behind the driver to make another observer position. But that also will hinder my surfing, I think. It makes less room for me to put people on the starboard side to weight for surfing. All my kids are goofy except one. I guess the only good thing, is the port side needs more weight to be clean, and the starboard doesn't need as much.

I have seen the rz4 in person, and I loved it. I really think I may look into one in the next few years.

I would love to hear someone give some experience with the 400hp that tige is now offering in the 5.7. Reliablity and fuel economy.
