High Torque Marine. They make cats that go very fast. The original owner was killed in his own boat when it tore apart with a high speed maneuver to avoid another boat at 90+mph. I will have to check over at www.hotboat.com to see if there is more info.
Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.

I cruise hotboat as much as Tigeowners. I almost bought a DCB last week but didn't pull the trigger. Both my brothers and their buddy just ordered new DCB's, so I wanted to get in on the order. I've been debating it for years, however my wife loves wakeboard boats so I'll have to wait till I can afford two boats.
Temporarily not a TO, but not gone forever... RID22 (Formerly K***k'n Futs!)

An enquiry has already been posted, but no info yet. The thread turned into a HTM bashing thread.
HTMs are tricky at high speeds.
I understand those class boats are un-insurable.

My buddy owns a Mach 26 and has been thinking of upgrading to the 29. Very nice boats.

I am assuming you would keep that boat in AZ or somewhere? There's nowhere to really drive one of those boats around here. I know a guy who has an DCB F29 and he keeps it at his 2nd home in Lake Havasu. My other "buddy" sold his Eliminator 36' Race boat back to the original owner after taking it to Horsetooth and realizing that with both motors running he was barely idling at the 40 mph speed limit! It did 147mph at LOTO shootout 2 years ago though...
You might check on www.offshoreonly.com my husband is a member there, they seem to be up on anything that happens in the high performance industry, I'm sure someone has posted something from the west coast.
