Looks like yall had a fun time. I wish I could been on the lake
Hey Chptril, I talked to another friend that has a couple of places at Belews and he did tell me that Belews is down too. He had to take his boat off the lift or it would have been there through the winter or until we get enough rain. We may try to get a wkend sometime in Oct. if possible. I have a couple of wetsuit if it gets to cold.Dale

I have never seen anyone use a leash on the board for wakesurfing.

I agree that that is a concern, but I have found that it is much easier on newbies to pull up using the shortened ski rope/handle. I do instruct everyone to keep hold of the handle ( and yes, I know that in one pic the rider has dropped it ) and DO NOT wrap the rope around your hands or put your arm through the handle.
I do have the LF knotted rope that we got with the first surfer but I dont like it. Unless the newbie has pretty good upper body strength, it's hard to pull up. I did make a new surf rope with a narrower handle. Seems to be working out well.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
