Of course it would have the added benefit of hiding the engine AND preventing people from dropping stuff down into the engine bay....Like Binding Slime, ropes, and for all you guys with wives and daughters....Hair scrunchies, hair clips, ankle bracelets, etc...

    Why not do that??

There's your million dollar idea...a little fiberglass, some epoxy resin, a couple hours of work....then you're off.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

I think then you would have to say that you copied Malibu. They already have a tray above the engine.

It looks like the engine is not deep enough for a tray to fit in there with the hatches closed. I love the idea of a tray though. If you have ever lifted the engine cover with it running, you know it is noisy, and I don't want my kid reaching for a life jacket with all those moving parts right near by. A tray would be very nice, if it could fit.

I like the new tower. Something straightforward, but solid. It will fit nicely for folks looking for a less expensive boat. I like the straight bar for attaching tower speakers to.
              Be excellent to one another.

As soon as you put a tray there some one will try to stand on it and end up in the engine compartment. Bad eneough as it is that to acess the storage you expose the engine.

Hope everyone is smart eneough to shut it off before takeing stuff out and possibly dropping something into the belt.

if they are using the alum block, i would not buy it. that would mean it's the same block in the vetts, and the vets are having issues with sustained high rpm, case in point what a boat does all the time.

The flyer says they are using a cast iron block and alum heads.

Hope no one has any issues.

That is what I am curious about, what will the Z1 boat spawn, a Z3? Is that the new direction for all Tige' styling and will the Ve be phased out or redesigned to take some of those angular queues or will the Ve retain it's styling. Not sure what I think about that yet, I like the Ve's being a 22V owner myself. It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out...

I think this boat is intended to be less pricey. I would think the Ve is going to continue for a while yet. It would seem to be foolish to make a Z3. IF you could afford a Z3, you should just get a 22Ve.
