Greg Mallek just took his 24Ve and sacked it out, with Enzo sac and such. The 24Ve has a great surf wake, look for greg's posts, and you can see how he sacked his out, without concern for storage.

Ballast isn't going to make a huge difference in resale value. You can add one after the fact easy enough. The factory system is only 900 lbs anyways.

BTW, the amount of ballast required by each boat is different. You sack out an MC and a Tige with the same amount of ballast and you'll get a far better wake from the Tige. Wake size is really all about hull design. Tige's one of the best you can get.
