More Lake Powell pics from last week

I know that Moki just posted some pics from his Lake Powell weekend, but you can never have too many, so here are some from our trip last week.

The first is Thursday Morning 9-12-07
The second is Friday Morning sunrise
The third is Lone rock beach, with all of the RV's lined up next to each other
The fourth is our friend Ed who is one of four who learned to wakesurf on the trip and loved it.
The fifth is Ed going down (or he could be rising from the depths as a creature from the Pirates of the Caribbean)

One last pic, this is me almost completing a 360. No one in my family has completed it yet and there is stiff competition to be the first. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Awesome pics! That first pic of the glass is beautiful. Regarding the 360, I need to get a smaller board to even attempt one. However, I did pull of the fire hydrant while at Powell. You place one hand on the board and take your front foot off. Maybe try wearing Ed's hat

That guy looks like some good ballast. Note the life jacket cannot be zipped up.

He does look like a pirate coming out of the deep!

Is that the yellow loogey? If it is, the 2007 model has the rounded nose, and it dives, and won't spin around. I talked to Inland about it, and they said that is exactly why they redesigned the 2007.5 and 2008 loogeys.

So are you saying that my version of the Yellow Loogey won't allow us to complete the 360? I bought that almost a year ago, so I'm pretty sure that it's the 2006 version. We have gotten all the way around, but we just haven't been able to stay in the pocket.

I am not saying it WON'T let you, but much more difficult. It always wants to dive, nose in, and the front end doesn't come around fast enough.

I have sold a couple of boards, and just waiting.

Very nice! That first picture would be a great desktop. I hope yall got some wakeboarding in on that glass.
