LP and Tall, PM sent.
Powell is now at 3602' and dropping. This is exactly what the level was on this date the last 2 years. I've heard the same La Nina comments about a dry winter ahead. Not good news.
Also, I've talked to several who use Antelope Marina and they say that they get charged more for the same services. I know that gas is always a little higher. Just high enough that it isn't worth going all the way back to Wahweap.

At least that is what our local weather forecaster said on the KCSG news. If you believe it.

I'm with Tall lets get the lake level back up. I would consider a partnership if there were some sort of third party management company. Someone to check the boat in and out. I have been part of a group (my own flesh and blood) that didn't have one. You would not believe the stuff we put up with. Gas tanks empty, sewage tanks full, boat not clean and those are the minor ones. I am also looking for something 5 years or newer. I have talked to some manufacturers and they really only plan on a 10 year reliability time frame. From our experience with our last boat we bought at 7 years old and sold when 13, lots of maintance expenses in the last 3. I'll continue looking and if I run across the right deal and timing I'll pm those that pm me with interest.
Back to Mokis pics and thread. Fall is best for air and water temps usually about the time the kids are back in school. Can you call it home school if your not at home? I think it's better to call it boarding school, wait that may already be taken. My dad always said "Stupid Hurts". He's yet to be proven wrong, but for some reason I keep trying.

It is about another 15-20 minutes to Antelope from St. George. That is two extra wakeboarding runs! (one for the trip out, and one for the trip in). Just food for thought.
There are certainly other things to like about Antelope, but location may only be a temporary benefit.
It feels like this summer has been the rainiest in years for the intermountain west, so I hope that bodes well for winter.

Has anybody looked into how available slips are?
