If you're going to wakeboard and you have no friends who ski the V would be better suited to your needs. Coming into the winter in the midwest here I am starting to see some GREAT deals from people who don't want to pay through another winter. Look at driving north to pick it up and you may be able to save yourself a bunch of loot.

I just got a 20V about 6 weeks ago and we're loving it. We boat in a lot of rough water (glass is rare) and my buddies DD gets pretty pummeled-it's a SKi Ray-- but can't imagine a Tige DD would be drastically different.

One last bit of advice would be to buy the boat with the options you want because it is a WHOLE LOT cheaper, easier, and less frustrating than dealing with it yourself (and you pay over the financing term instead of all at once).

    just my humble opinion
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

He is working hard to get me a good price on a left over 20i seems like the wake will be fine for what I will ever need however may regret having that big engine cover right in the middle of the boat. Thats my concern really at this point.

hey we have an 07 20i, we wakeboard behind it with taps on 8 and the wake is really impressive. a friend of ours who is going for a world ranking next season has a MC X-2 and he rode behind ours and says its good. imo if its good enuf for the pros its good enuf for me. plus his MC has 1.5 tonnes of water int he boat and 10 people, we dont, we just have the taps and ou wake wasnt that much smaller. as for the engine cover, it may feel a bit small, but it makes for a good seat =] my brother loves sitting on it and its handy for setting stuff on.
