Some other good news, I REALLY like the inland surfer boards, and have been thinking about getting a RED TIDE. Well, we won one! Can't beat that.

I agree with what you have done, Ragboy. As a physician and also a former collegiate athlete, I think I see both sides a little better than most.

Life is all about judging risks versus benefits and deciding what to do. Most people don't understand the benefit side of this competition for someone like RJ.

Once the stitch popped, it became clear that the risk was too much, and you made the right choice, don't push it any further. Keep a close eye on that wound, it could still get infected.

Tell RJ to keep his head. He will get it next year. I know right now he doesn't care about next year but as a 45 year old man who pushed myself when I was younger and hurt, I am paying for it now. He won't let nothing stop him next year. Go get them RJ. Good Job. You also made the right call Radboy, my dad did the same to me when I was younger. He is ok, we have a really good relationship. My kids know I want what's best for them, because they have seen it for years. He is def bummed, but already talking with his sister to help her get her trick run down for Louisiana. He's a good kid, and I am proud of him, and I can't wait to see him next year.
