If you turn off the cruise it will reset to 0 so you have to hold the faster button to get back to 10.4.

Seriously Mike, don't panic! Take your time and have your riders get their board and hold it up so others can see it. My brother used to want to race back and get me too but in time he has learned that others are paying attention even though you don't think they are. We've rode in every imaginable condition and still wait for the rollers to pass before making the turn and leave the cruise enabled.

He mean he cant accelerate back to his rider beyond 10 mph so he shuts it off to get back to the rider and back on when riding. with perfect pass you have a 5 second override with the speed. I think that is what he is talking about..........

With my Accu-Set, I can drive through the target speed If accelerate hard.

How? The way mine works is you give it full throttle to make the cruise work in the first place. Is that a change for '07?

IDK, if I ease through the target speed, Accu-Set will latch in. If I accelerate hard through the target speed, it will not latch and the red light will keep flashing.

07 Speed Set may be different in that department

              Here is some good reading

I put this up on my web site for you guys to read this will help a lot. I found this somewhere not sure if it was on this web site from some one else or on wakeboarder.com. But it helped a lot for both my wife and I.

                Timmy,
At chatfield holding your board up doesn't even help. All the boats following behind us have a drunk driver thats looking back at their own wake boarder. No one looks forward. It's really dangerous. I'm about to give a flare gun to whom ever surfs behind my boat.

The Tige cruise control erases the previous speed when you turn it off. When I turn it back on I have to hold down faster till it hits 10.4. Then I can take off with the surfer again. It's just kind of tedious.

that's why i'm saying don't turn it off, just pull the throttle back to neutral, and it will disengage. When the boat slows, turn and back in to your original path and idle back to your rider.

I find while surfing, if I go to neutral when the rider falls, I'm never very far from them anyway

                    My experience has been...

I have tried alot of different things to keep the bow dry, I've found if I just give the throttle a gentle surge for just a second at the point just before the wake hits the bow it all comes out fine. The speed control keeps me from going past 10 mph but I don't need to go that fast to keep the bow dry. I sometimes just stay 90 deg to the wake until it all passes but if I need to get back to the surfer faster because of traffic I just burp the throttle at the critical moment, make sure everyone stays put though.
If I can be of any help at all, your in deep doo doo!

That's what I do, as soon as they fall the throttle immediately goes back to neutral. Sometimes I am close enough to them that I can back up to them instead of turning around.

i got to drive an RZ4 for the first time. what a ride to say the least. there were four of us in the boat driver, observer and two in the bow. i do understand where you are comming from. it was a real rough day and i did have to concentrate on keeping the nose up. that being said i think i could get the hang of it. and i dont think i have ever driven such an impressive boat. i love every single thing about it!! i also drove and X-star wich drove nice but would go under so much easier and it didnt even have peole in the bow.

I've heard horrible stories about the mastercrafts scooping water, every model but the X-80. Unless you have the dough and the need for a 28ft wakeboat, nothing comes close to the RZ's.
