Nah.... I am west coast so I have at least another 2 months. Our weather is wacked this year, it has been cold most of the summer ( High 70's for the most part) However this weekend, it is going to be 28C ( mid 80's) and lots of Sun... If anyone remembers my pics for the 22VE test drive that was in Oct last year and there was a ton of sun

Nice looking boat. My dealer recently sold one that looked just like that!

I see they replaced the underwater light with an LED now? Mine always flickers on and off after it gets hot and I think that is due to vibration - haven't had the dealer check it yet. Looks like they also moved a few of the switches around. Does your RZ2 have cupholders on the transom like the RZ4? I need to put those in mine...

Scott at Samson told me that his Razor towers are about $300.00 more than the Tiges'. They are the sweetest!

            Yes, LED trasom light.

Yup, forgot to snap a pic of that, totally cool to have a sip before you ride It also has a cup holder up by the glove box as well ( not sure if on the 07 RZ2 but not on my 07 22VE)

My dealer told me a few more dealers in the USA are now using the Samson tower. not sure why it is not a option at all dealers, the stuff is so sweet and really add' to the overall look of the boat in my opinion, and to fold it could not be any easier.

I would be willing to bet that the Samson Tower is cheaper than the Tige tower. My next boat will not have one of the current TIge towers on it unless I have to accept it as a package deal. I think another tower is in the works...but that is top secret.

I agree with Tall, the Samson has to be less then the Tige, otherwise it wouldn't make sense to go with it. The Tige towers are way overpriced as is, so I really can't believe the Samson could be any higher.

Im not sure of that, I would assume the Tige tower comes mounted from Tige on the boats, With the Samson tower the dealer has to install it, which takes about 1/2 of shop time. I think it just fits the market up here with form and function. Not to mention the Samson can fold flat in seconds without any disassembly. Im not sure if anyone of you have seen one in person, but the pics don't really do it justice... ( again no offence, but I am glad my boats have had them)

My dealer is close friends with Stayton Motorsports in Oregon ( from my understanding the 1st to offer it) which is the only other dealer in the west coast that builds there Tige's the way they like them, so some of the Oregon guys can chime in on the tower as well.

                    -DHM trailers.
                    - Rankin covers.
                    - Samson towers.

I will be seeing my dealer and will ask the price VS the Tige tower to post here so we all know for sure. If it is cheaper, then you think more dealers would be doing it?

We have a Samson Razor on our 22V and love it. Like Kscales said the pics don't do it justice. It is just plain Bada$$.

It can be lowered easily, and it looks really cool to me.

It seems to me that any tower is a nearly 4K option from Tige, right?

This pic was from the 07 Las Vegas boat show and shows the option breakdown. Note that the tower was a $4,000 option. This was from an RZ2. The 'Hyper' price (whatever that means) was $3,462.

I am not sure this applies to the right tower, but whatever:
