Where are your knobs? I have 2 on my dash (lower rt side) and I have no idea what they do. I thought maybe a dimmer/adjuster for the guage lighting but I forgot to check it the only time I was out at night.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

It's for making minor corrections in the speedo reading. I believe it will correct around 3-4 MPH. If you had a radar gun or a boat with a known "accurate" speedo, you could adjust yours to match exactly using the knob. If you go out and run at a set speed, and then twist the knob, you will see your speedo reading change, even though the boat speed has not.

The old Correct Craft boats had these for competition. They could make accuracy adjustments so the speedometers would be right on so everyone was pulled at exactly the speed they requested or in case someone set a record they had proof the speedometer had been calibrated.

My 02 21V had the same knob. I actually found that if you turn it, the speed would change a lot. I nearly got my wife hurt one of our first times out because I was trying to get her up to skiing speed (30MPH or so), and noticed I had to give her full throttle to get there (definitely over 40MPH). So she was skiing over 40 MPH, although my speed said 30.

I then used a GPS and calibrated it that way. Borrow a friend's GPS if you don't have one.
            Be excellent to one another.

Do I have 2 knobs then because I have 2 speedos????
Why do they have 2 speedos anyway? What's the point.
Well, actually, the one on the left doesn't work, so I'm lucky I have 2 (dealer said he'd fix it for free when I winterize).
