Wet Sounds? (What happened to KICKER?)

What amp(s) are you pushing them with? I just had 2 pro 60's and a Kicker 200.2 installed last week and I think I might need a little more power.

Kicker ZX350.4, I believe this will will push 2 just fine (175 @ 4ohms bridged) but will not enough to push 4 if some one upgrades to the Tower of Power.

i dont know chp we got an 08 24ve in with four of the wet sounds on the tower and it is driven by the kicker zx350.4 and sounds tight. not saying more power would be bad but its very good with this setup.granted i was not driving the boat at the time it was on trailer and we were just jammin!! but ill tell you this it sounds awsome. so you ask the question why wetsounds go listen to them you get your answer.

How are the wired? paralleled @ 2ohm load or one PR0 60 per chnl?

i believe they are run parallel, i just chased new wires through my tower for my new wet sounds threesome and noticed only two sets of wires for my previous 4 kicker setup. the factory wires are too small when you start throwing the watts up top, will post some pics soon, they ROCK.....

Check out Dbot5 speakers too. Not plastic and the horn is not so big. All hidden inside and they are crisp and also crazy loud. Horn tweeter speakers are unbeatable. Wetsounds are awesome but many don't like the look and finish of them.
They are also a bit cheaper.
I posted some pics of my friends RZ4 a few weeks ago. He had the 6.5's and 8's on his. It was mind bending to hear how loud and clear they were from behind the boat.
Wetsounds or Dbot5....can't go wrong. I think traditional dome tweeter speakers are going to be obsolete on boats soon.

Fosgate isnt what it used to be. Neither is Sony, but thats besides the point.

Bar none, if you want the best tower speakers out there, your choices are Wet Sounds and NVS. Personally, I've got 4 kicker 6 1/2s on my tower and they dont compare to even 1 Wetsounds 8".

Bottom line is that Tigé did the research, and chose a proper premium tower speaker supplier... who designed them from the ground up, to work in marine environments.

But they did buy MB Quart...so maybe there's hope for them yet.
