Check out Dbot5 speakers too. Not plastic and the horn is not so big. All hidden inside and they are crisp and also crazy loud. Horn tweeter speakers are unbeatable. Wetsounds are awesome but many don't like the look and finish of them.
They are also a bit cheaper.
I posted some pics of my friends RZ4 a few weeks ago. He had the 6.5's and 8's on his. It was mind bending to hear how loud and clear they were from behind the boat.
Wetsounds or Dbot5....can't go wrong. I think traditional dome tweeter speakers are going to be obsolete on boats soon.

Bar none, if you want the best tower speakers out there, your choices are Wet Sounds and NVS. Personally, I've got 4 kicker 6 1/2s on my tower and they dont compare to even 1 Wetsounds 8".
Bottom line is that Tigé did the research, and chose a proper premium tower speaker supplier... who designed them from the ground up, to work in marine environments.Freude am Fahren.
