Tige Quality- "We boat with you!"

Here you go Charlie, I'll send you the bill.

"At Tige we know the quality of our boats is so good that if you breakdown and require on the water assistance we will pay the bill."

"We are not perfect but we are excellent".

Limit this to defects that can be shown to have occurred as result of factory defects in manufacture. Also, put a time frame of say , two years on it.

This position would do three things:

One- clean up the Quality Control dept at tige

Two- capture confidence in the product.

Three- become a viral ad that would sweep the boating industry.

Sounds like you've had it with trips in for repair and no success, along with the other problems mentioned. I and everyone else reading your posts can sense your frustration. Maybe I'm missing something here but like you said it runs fine in the service bay. How can they repair something that is not malfuntioning for them. It is almost impossible to diagnose most problems without seeing it for themselves. I'm in the repair business (not boats) and deal with hard to diagnose problems on a daily basis. The service techs listen to a description of the problem and try to make a judgement of what course of action to take as a remedy - especially if the problem cannot be duplicated in their presence. And when TWS offers to come to you and provide service on the water - well if you don't take that opportunity you can't or don't want to be helped.

Exactly what lemon laws are written for.

Did you see Doms post in which tige knows that the PP is not compatible with the MP engine?

Did you see the post in which I ask If tws can meet me on the lake and that I would take time off from work to do so?

Not just meet me on the lake when they happen to be partying there!

And finally did you see my email to Tige of AZ?

They don't need to come to me , I would go to them IF they can fix my boat!

You don't realize I don't live at the lake, I merely store my boat there.

Wake Havasu I am new to this post and was thrilled at how positive and friendly people were on it.Other people have posted how good of a guy you are and we all understand how frustrating things are as we have all got a lemon at one time or another-dirt bike, car, spouse etc.I know your boat is exspensive which makes it worse. The thing that bothers me a little is that you seem to be bringing this fine site down as you are posting negative comments on every thread you can.I think that one thread is enough. You are now throwing sarcastic comments to other Tige members. You say you are a business man but I am sure not all your clients have always been 100% satisfied and I wonder how you would feel if they posted the way you have? There has been tons of support offered from dealers and posters. We all understand you have lots of cash as you have mentioned it alot but we all have some cash or we would not own boats and other toys.I have been a career paramedic/firefighter in a large city for years so the next time I have to tell a child or spouse that have been sexually or physically abused or lost a loved one in a accident,I can tell them that I can sympathize as I know a guy whos wife and kids wont go on there boat cause it will only pull a tube.I guess I am trying to say -put things in perspective, have ONE complaint thread and stop cutting down people and dragging down the thread.

TWS is not on a lake either. But they offered to meet you at a lake where they could get an in person observation of the problem your having with your boat with you there while it is occuring. There is not a better way to diagnose a problem than to have a tech present while you are operating your equipment as you nomally would and seeing the problem in person. It would be a perfect world if you bought something mechanical and it worked perfectly from day one. Things are going to happen, components may not relate to other components as well as expected. But to get your problem resolved you have to be willing to let techs have access to your equipment if you expect to get it fixed.

              Your right Bibbs-

I am externally bitter at all the utter BS I have gone through.

It's why I have stayed off this board.

I never once complained about all the BS prior to two things:

One Leanne of Nevada Boats Emailing for money I had already paid to Matt

And the PM Daniel sent me.

I appreciate your brand loyalty and that you have not been through what I have been through.

And that this bothers you and hopefully them is the leverage I am using to resolve this issue.

              PS

I offer a 100% I-buy-my-product-back guarantee so this leaves little room for bitterness.

Which I know is not feasible for a product such as a boat.

I can see Wake's point of view plain and clear. Especially meeting on the lake during the vacation......I mean they ARE a dealer, right? Shouldn't heading to the lake/river/??? be part of problem diagnosis?

I would think so. When I first got my boat, it leaked like crazy. My dealer couldn't figure it out so they suggested that we head to the lake that's like 5 minutes away when it's convenient for me. They figured it out in about 15 minutes and fixed it right away. It was a really simple problem to fix and it was definitely a factory defect, but I was very appreciative that they didn't make me wait a week or so while it sat in their queue.

Wake, call Andrew. I'd be surprised if he couldn't help you. Let us know what happens.

I am not clear on your post.

If you review the offer, it was for me to travel 300 miles to where they they would be vacationing.

No offer was made to meet me at a mutually convenient time.

The offer was to for me to drive 300 miles to meet on the lake at their convince.

                        I don't live at Havi.

I live in La Quinta Ca and keep my boat at the Anchor Inn in Parker AZ.

I commend you for being some what quiet about your problems for some time but after two years of BS I would be doing the same thing that you are doing now.

Maybe some one at Tige will finally step up and do something!

PS I feel your pain with TWS I wont step foot in that place!

I would do the same. You have every right to express your opinnion/situation and in this case I believe its warranted. Now everyone knows what is going on and can be better informed as what to do with their situations and what type of service they might or might not expect. Thanks. Let us all know on what resolution, if any, you will get. Just remember you spent a hell of a lot of money for something that does not work and they need to fix it and if they cannot then in my opinnion they should give you a new boat that works. By the way where did you purchase your boat?

I am sorry but I am done with tige.

                              I DO NOT TRUST THEM.

I will document and capture all correspondence between us on this board.

Despite the negativity and bitterness, I will not go one more trip in which I spend 300.00 a nite for lodging, food gas and time, only to break down.

All this for the sum 0f 73K. I have put my money where my mouth is!

Lets see others that chim in do the same. Not just some 17 post keyboard wonders that may be employed by tige.

I have to face not only anger form mega corp tige but also the anger of those here loyal to the mark.

It would be a waste of my time to take the boat anywhere if there exists a computability issue between Perfect Pas and MP.

Or even a perculation issue for that matter!

So far all they do is side step my questions.

                              Am I being demanding?

                              You betcha!

I want those that profited from my pain to share in the grief they inflicted on me and my family to the tune of 73K plus!
