Have you taken your Tige" in to Corona for your issues?
No I will not take my boat back to tige water sports in Corona.
I put it away in storage in Parker, Az and hope not to have to see it again for a while.
I have been going through this since last July.
I made the mistake of taking it into Boats of Nevada. I was told they are a tige dealer so I tried.
Ran her three times this summer only to have the problem repeat.
I bought the boat at tige Water Sports. They forgot to put a battery charger in when I ordered the boat new.
Then at around 25 or 30 hours I hauled my boat from Parker all the way to Corona for it's first service.
Again they forgot to put the battery charger on the boat.
But what they did do was badger me about their having ordered the part(s)!
I am D O N E having to cover. pay and put up with such wonderful "service".
Now where's my questionnaire?
Better yet, where's the manual?Last edited by Wake Havasu; 09-02-2007, 01:07 PM.

Sorry Razz, but I don't like that big box in the middle of my dance floor. I do envy you though when it is time to do a little work on the engine.
I need some warranty work done on a 06 6.0?
Are they familiar with MP 6.0's?

They forgot something on ours.
We didn't get worked up.
They'll catch it on the next service.
Patience brother WH,, patience.
You been posting on HB too long.
It's all anger over there.
You're among friends here.
Go to Tige' watersports, sit down with Chris, he'll see you're taken care of.
If you don't give them chances,, what's the point of complaining?
And, you'll have no recourse.
If they still let me in the door, they'll still let you.

Geez I have been through everything from cracked motor mounts to fuel gauges that don't work.
But the situation I have has been on going since last season and it's apparently NOT correctable.
Going to chris would be a waste of his and my time.
It seems the Perfect Pass is not compatible with an MP motor and that tige knows this.
The dealers are fronting and trying to buy time for a factory issue, if this is true.
Since its nothing to get worked about how you guys giving me your cell numbers and offering to help me on the lake each time this happens?

My 02 had the Mercruiser and my 05 has the MP340.
I am not a mechanic but these are my visual observations.
Mercruiser looked like it was cleaner overall. The design, brackets, wiring etc.
Power. I did not think the MP 340 was going to be enough on the 24V. I have been impressed, even lately with adding 1500 pounds for surfing.
I was changing impellers all the time on the mercruiser and have just replaced my first one on the MP.
Warranty 1 year on Mercruiser ,3 years on MP
My friend said changeing impeller on MP was easier than on the mercruiser.
I would choose an MP engine againLet it be!!!

WH,
If it is the perfect pass, can you just disconnect it and run without it? I know it would be hard to live without, but if I had to choose between running without it or not running at all, I would choose to dump the perfect pass.
I asked on the other thread, but don't recall seeing the answer: At least 2 people on this board say that your problem is fixable, you come back and say it is PP and is unfixable, what gives?
On to the subject at hand, my 02 21V had the Merc. My observations are exactly like XPJim says. Plus, my dealer says that dealing with warranty issues are much easier with the MP company. He adds that he has seen less issues with MP since switching. I think he was one of the first to order every boat with MP since it was an option.Be excellent to one another.
