Measure the perimeter of the tube and divide by 3.142857. That will give you the diameter. Now, if someone else can tell you then that's even better.

            If that's a Metcraft Tower, then yes...it's 2"" diameter.

How can you argue, it adds up to 100%

If I had the boat nearby I would measure but unfortunately its nowhere near me.

It looks like 1.5", but it's hard to tell by looking at it.

Keep in mind that PIPE is not measured by the outside diameter.

It is 2". I am 96% sure. My Metcraft tower is 2". It looks nearly the same.

The reason I say it looks like 1.5" is because it looks smaller than the Tige towers...and the smallest of them is 2".

BTW, Tige is going to be offering a cheaper option tower in the future, but it still will be 2" pipe.

You are correct, PIPE is measured by ID. But this is not PIPE, this is TUBING and tubing is measured OD.

Well, I just measured MY entry-level, cheaper option "E" series Tige tower (I think we established in a previous thread that Tige only makes 2 towers) and it is 2.5" OD

I do not foresee Tige putting out any towers smaller then 2.5. No reason to step back to the days of cracks and wobbly towers

Do remember that although the towers may have the same parts and look the same that they will not interchange between different Tige boats. The angles are all different.

They want to offer a cheaper option. Unless I walked by it, saw it, and my memory is failing, you'll be seeing a 2" Tige tower in the future. It will not have the billet aft legs like they now do. You'll probably think it's a universal type tower, when you see it.

This is my 2 inch tower. You can see it is pretty much the same tubing as Evilone's.
