Moki....not sure if we are going to venture to Powell again this year. I blew my ACL on 7/7/07 at Flaming Gorge this year, waiting till the end of October to have surgery, so I'm not as motivated to get out as much. I can still slalom (with knee brace) and surf, but I have been mostly mountain biking since the knee injury. We are heading to the Gorge next weekend and may look at a Powell trip in October some time.

Let me know when you plan on going and maybe we could coordinate something.

T-pokes....69 is pretty warm. You can let me know when it's down in the 50 range and then I will say burrrrrr.

Stop half way and check the tire again. I pulled my boat 15 hours one way to SLC for Taylor's to fix it last year. It was not that bad. In Ut the roads are so smooth compared to CA. I acctually pulled it at 70MPH no problems. Most of the time 65 though. You should come It would be fun to have you at the reunion.

Also I have arranged to get some killer pricing on Fat Sacs from flyhigh. PM me for special pricing. Here is the web site to get the part numbers. www.fatsac.com. In order to get the pricing on this product you have to come to the reunion and it has been authorized by flyhigh for the pricing at this event only. So take advantage of it.

How much for a couple of fatbricks and a pump? Kind of sounds perverted if you say it real fast.

So much for Lucky number 7 That sucks, I am sorry to hear that. Did you land it? I love mountain biking, I go in Lambert park and up American Fork Canyon. I have the Cannondale Prophet

We will be in Powell in the second week in September and Lake Mead for the Tige reunion. Other than those two, school is going to keep us locked down. Let's shoot for something in spring!

That would be a blast, I have never done PC. We were there a few weeks ago and I didn't take my bike, I was tempted to rent a bike and go off on my own.

Moki....do you have wife and kids? If so, does your wife ride at all? We have two kids ages 4 and 15. The 15 year-old is a great sitter while we are off riding. My wife and I are pretty serious "recreational" mountain bikers and are always up for a weekend ride. We will most likely be in town this weekend if you are interested in a ride. We reside in Midway.
