    Tige' Seat Skins

I recently purchased seat skins for my Tige' v series, from Tige'. The came after 3 months of phone calls, finding out that they were out of material, And they were no where near the quality of original. The original had foam in the seat skin, the replacement are poor fitting single layer skins. I would recomend that anyone that needs to redo there boats get it done some where else.
Sorry Tige' ...but not up to your usual great quality.

My dealer told me they had a real hard time getting skins from Tige because of poor record keeping at Tige. He recommended I get it done at a local shop because that shop knew what material was on my boat and could get it to match exactly.

I know they are using a different vinyl this year which is a stretch 4 way. I have one skin in my garage to replace a small tear here in the off season. The vinyl quality seems fine to me but I know that Tige had to shut down operations at the end of 06 to re-teach all of the guys how to put the skins on the correct way so there would not be any loose material. I think the new vinyl takes some time and tricks to get it on correctly.

Long story short, Flip up storage in the front of my '06 was rubbing - really poor fit and ended up tearing the side seat cushion. Tige' sent a replacement skin, but to my dismay - it was the '07 vinyl. Unfortunately, it doesn't match what's in my boat and now waiting on getting one that does match. Fortunately, John and Randy at TWS are all over it. I would've sold months ago if wasn't for these guys.

Still blows that I have to wait another 4-6 weeks. To me, this is something that they should have caught.

ill post pics up one of these days, but my RZ vinyl will have to be totally replaced at the end of this year......tears at seems, tears from rubbing......
so i get it replaced for free this year, but what about next and the eyar after, if its the same material, then every year im going to go through this!
the vinyl is my only complaint about my boat
