I would be happy with 15 feet below the highs... However, right now compared to last year at this time, the lake is 60 feet shollower and I just found out that the entire lake is going to a 5 mph zone because of all the hazards....

I'm doing a rain dance this Fall. This is crazy and the last time the water was at this level was 2003????? But, that level wasn't until the end of the boating season. We are still in the season.

We got real low in 2002, but not this low Our sandbar, at the hottest/driest part of the season is usually just above knee level. 3 weeks ago, it was an ISLAND

Our low levels are caused by a bad drought in the mountains where these rivers start.

How far is Buchanan from Austin. I am going to be in San Antonio and Austin in two weeks for work. I can try to get some then. Maybe I can lasso a lake and have the plane pull it back.

Dude, I live just outside of Austin (Cedar Park) and we go out on Lake Austin quite a bit during the week. San Antonio and Austin are about 70 miles apart and Lake Buchanan is 50 min from Austin. Need some of those oil guys to build some H20 pipelines and we can share in good times.

That's why we're using Don Pedro now instead of Hogan, lot's of water still. Check out the pic of my buddies wife, wait, no check out the water line in the background, yeah that's it! Notice it's down about 75' and still lots of water. This was taken weekend before last.
