I've been out there already. Just want to go again on someone elses boat.
We have heard of a lot of problems with boats hitting stumps and damaging their prop and hulls. Taking a look at the conditions at the beginning is the key to it....
Nope, we aren't going out. State Fair on Sunday and Saturday we have: soccer games (4 games total) and errands to run. I hate to say this but it looks like my season is done already. Waters low, can't go to Lake Clementine with my boat, and don't know the river that well yet since I have only been there once so far and that was on someone elses boat.
da.bell we need to use our wave runners to check out the river. My wife wants to do that but our kids are now getting to big for us to ride with them on the backs.
We can arrange that one weekend when you have free. I will talk with the GF and can take them out first or the day before and then the next day, we can take the boat. But, will have to talk with the GF first.

Same thing here I can not go out there with out my wife. That is death. I never get to use those without her.
well I have been taking mine out there 3 days a week for the last 2 weeks. I have never hit anything or came close too yet. The river does move kinda fast. So when you pick up a rider you need to be aware of your surroundings. I have never heard of anyone hitting a stump yet. But if your driving too close to the shore I can see that happening.
Do it! You will be glad you did. It beats out any other glass run ever! Totally the way to go!
