    Replacement/spare tower parts

Anyone know where to get the really big bolts that are used to hold on the tower. My hardware store didn't have any with nice big handles like the ones I have now. I know my kids, and the ones I have now will be lost soon (have to take tower down to get in garage).
Also, those black grommets on the tower leave black crap EVERYWHERE. Is there a decent alternative for those or am I damned to a life of cleaning black marks?

    (boats an '02 20V w/ stock tower)

    Thanks!
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Shoot me a PM and a pic or good description of which bolt you need. I'm not exactly sure. I can probably help you out on this.

Actually McMaster -Carr had them. Thanks though!

Check that site out, they have everything you could want if you need something.

If you're talking about the base gaskets, McMaster has sheet polyurethane in black I've been looking at to replace ours with over the winter.

Some of the black gaskets will have a sticky side. Some boat manufacturers will leave the paper on it and not even use the sticky stuff. Others will have rubber without sticky stuff. It seems that different installers like different options on the sticky stuff.

One of the big obstacles with choosing the gaskets is the UV resistance it has. Clear would be great, but it can't be found in a form that's resistant to the UV rays.

If the polyurethane works out, post it up.
