Things Learned--- We are new boat owners-- Ryan and I are educated people-- we're smart---right?. But I have never felt so DUMB and incompetent since buying a boat! Saturday may have taken the cake-- we went to anchor the boat and drift in to shore and Ryan did a "talley Ho" off the back of the boat with the anchor and then realized it wasn't hooked to the boat!!!! We just stared at each other while it sunk in what just happened.. How embarassing! How do you recover from something like that-- the lake was pretty empty so hopefully word won't get out at how idiotic we are.. All in all a good day at the lake-- I landed the most air yet for me--- Ryan said 12 inches but I am thinkin at least 18

You need to tie a buoy to the end of your anchor line!!!Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein

My kids are my crew, and we pull to the ready line, and they do the plug, the straps and so forth. Well, we bought our Tige on 5/1, and needed to sell our old boat. So we were taking this guy on a test drive. I am on the trailer, boat in the water, trying to back off, have it in reverse, boat will NOT come off. Keep trying. "Ashley, you took the straps off right?" She didn't answer, but the look on her face said it all. We do 100s of trips, no problem. The one time I am test driving the boat for someone!http://wake9.com/
