Ditto on that! Patience, patience, patience!

With these boats, slower is always better!

Using the taps to save gas!

When the ballast tanks/bags are full and there are a bunch of people in the boat. Put the trim tab all of the way down before pulling up a rider. Once on plane trim the tab back up or to prefered setting. YOu get up on plane quicker and with a lot more ease and lower RPM's. I have gotten in the habit of doing this every time, and I have noticed a dramatic reduction in fuel usage.

When fueling up on land, grab a handful of paper towels and hold the wad under the nozzle/fuel filler to catch any burp that regurges back up, instead of spilling all over your gelcoat.

That is what I do all the time and it works great esp when you have about 2500 lbs on the boat. its hard even with it down

Yes, that does make a big difference when weighted down, also safer, keeps the bow rise down.

I've noticed how much more light 110 volts put out vs. 12 volts. Do you think there is a a way to keep it safe?

Just because you order factory balast, doesn't mean you will get factory balast.

Don't let macho newbies throw boards into the water. They inevitably end up taking chunks out of your teak.
