Keep your fingers crossed, my wife is working with our #1 news station here in Denver (9 News) and we are tentative for taking them out late next week with our dealer Wakeboard & Waterski Specialty. The segment would be on something called "Wild Rides". We are working out the details but right now we will be using my RZ2 and our dealer Bill and another guy that works there will be the surfers!!!

I will probably need to compile a list of resources so we can point out how to make the sport safe for everyone.

Let me know if you need anything. I know a few people at 9news. They were our sister station when I worked at KARE11 here in Minneapolis.

Otherwise, just off the top of my head you should include FreshAirExhaust and Dr. Larry Mann as one answer to the CO issue.

You'll have the inboard thing covered, and I'm sure you will emphasize to them that Outboards and I/O's are out of the question.

Last think is are they going to tackle the police angle. Maybe you should think about getting a water patrol guy to come out with you and explain to him how safe it is etc???

Good luck!! Knowing where 9News ranks among tv stations in the country (they are consistently rated in the top 5) hopefully other stations will pick up the story.

I sent the NY Times article to my wife, I think she should pass that along to them as well. If the NY Times is running this story positively, I'm pretty confident that this station will! I might PM you for some resources - we'll see how things go! My wife used to be in PR so she's pretty good at getting them the positive side of things.

Have Corey surf he is kick A$$. Up in Green Mnt he surfed behind my 20i and did some awesome stuff.

I sent a copy to the local paper of the NY times article and said he should do one in our paper as that surfing has become very popular around here.

He said it sounded great and asked if I would write the article....
