Speedos?

I have a 1999 2100pre. Lately I have noticed that I am getting water on the floor under the instrument panel on the left hand side of the kick panel. I can only assume that I have a speedo leak, but I am at a loss to find where it is actually coming from. I can't see water dripping anywhere and nothing appears to be wet but the floor. Both speedos are working properly.

Anyone experience this same or similar problem?

Others have had heater core problems in that area.

Sounds like the diaphragm in the pitot tube is leaking and allowing water to travel up to the speedo head.

I thought the same thing but...
... I went under the dash, checked all the fittings and felt for moisture and I couldnt find a thing. When the diaphram goes out, were does the water usually flow from???
On my buddies Malibu the speedo actually filled with water.

No, we are trying to help locate a leak.... I have no idea what you are talking about.

I have a bellows mounted to the transom on my pitot line. It is a brass colored tube about 5 inches long. Called a Bourdon tube.
