There are a couple of Tige owners out of St. George: talltigeguy and Lovin Powell. I know they do frequent Sandhollow, so be sure to PM them before you go. I hear they are pretty fun and not above tubing

I can't help but agree to some extent, since this is not the first time a brand new owner has come on this board with a significant failure.
Remember what I said in the 2008 Tige website thread when Tige said they drive each boat for 1 hour before it leaves the factory? Somehow I remain skeptical.

That's funny
We are POKES------ We live in Wyoming and live 20miles from Flaming Gorge. ever hear of it??
This weekend we are driving down to St George Utah to Sandhollow--great lake built right on top of sand dunes so it is crazy fun!
Go Cowpokes! Look for me at Sand Hollow on Saturday. I will likely be there at some point or another. I have a red 24V. You will see a very, very large surf wave behind the boat, or a 5 man water weenie. (Yup, a really big tube).
You might be sad to learn that there is a boat identical to yours here already, although it is an RZ4. Same color scheme and everything. I have been trying to make myself friendly with him, but he keeps ignoring me...
So I guess you will bring some sort of small sand machines too? I live in a place I can hop on my dirtbike and be in the dunes in about 15 minutes from my house.
Saturdays the water quality usually is pretty poor. There are too many people, or the wind picks up. Your best bet if you are serious about any boarding or skiing is to be there at dawn. I don't even consider wakeboarding on a Saturday at Sand Hollow, but I am no good, so I need glass just to keep going. There are days that there is too much traffic to surf effectively.
School started this week, so hopefully that will keep people's minds occupied.

Thanks for the 411 We are trying to get an Adults only on Friday night and then yes we will be there with the whole crew all day Saturday--Typical Utah lake----crowded as all get out-- We went to Flaming gorge for the first time in our lives on 4th of July--- I think we were one of 3 boats-- I 'm lovin it!! but we are cooling down so we thought we would head down south this weekend--- yea we have machines and we took them down there over memorial but not sure how to bring them all down-- we could pack one in the back of the truck-- but the others??? you may need to chat with the hubby-- got his first bike about 8 months ago KTM 525 talk about riding--we have more antalope than people in this state!!! LOTS OF OPEN SPACE
The bike gets neglected while the boat is out. My season for the sand is from December to March. When it is 105 degrees out, it is hard to have much fun in the dirt. I, personally, would not bring anything other than the boat, but people do it all the time.
Get a drysuit and keep going on Flaming Gorge until the water turns solid.
Yeah I hear ya we are no good either but don't tell anyone I'll blame it on the bad water When we bought the boat the family asked " have you even driven a boat?" We're like "nope" People think were nuts but you gotta start somewhere...

I may consider that
That is the great thing about ST George--winter months!!!
Ya if you see us feel free to stop and say hi we will be the only ones thumping HANNAH MONTANA----geez we really need that adult night on Friday
I won a Ktm 525 EXC in 2004. Rode it the winter and then sold it and my old boat to get the 24V. Enjoyed dirtbiking but enjoy the boat more. Have a Rhino for the winter so I can bring my better half along.
I will be out at Sand Hollow tomorrow. Don't know about this weekend, I might try Sand Hollow later in the day after the crowds leave. Talltigeguy is easy to spot, just look up, he is about 9' , also a really good friend and good wakesurfer (even if he does go on the wrong side).
I see that you got you User Name fixed . I noticed that you are from Rock Springs That is My Dad was born and raised there and still has some family there.

TallTigeGuy, I do have to say I went to the factory on a unplanned visit and saw what they were doing. They had a line of new boats that was set up for water test. While I was there for four hours they tested three boats. One came back with some minor gel coat repairs which were fixed before I left and the other we put in the final inspection line. And I mean final Inspection. The inspectors ripped that boat apart checking it. But we have to remember they are still alive and human beings so they are not perfect just yet either and as good of a job as they do they still miss little things and I don't know how they miss big things?
Your boat looks super COOL! That's the boat my wife and I would buy if we could find someone else to pay for it Something baout that front end just looks to cool.
