I would not be concerned. My 2005 24V Had the v-drive flange bolts back out at about 15 hours. left me dead in the water. My dealer was 3 hours away. Was not happy about being towed in by Vessel Assist in my new boats but stuff happens. Dealer fixed boat right when I brought it in and did first service for free. Then at about 35 hours the transmission seal blew. Tige did pick the components but these were the same tranny's in Mastercrafts. Again dealer was great Point is any manufacturer relies on the suppliers. Parts do fail. It is how the dealer and Tige performs. My dealer and Tige are both excellent. I have friends with the same year Tige as my boat who have not had any issues. My 02 Tige was performed flawlessly for the 3 years I owned it. Since the middle of 05 many hours of trouble free boating. Life is too short to stress. Enjoy the boat.

              Great looking boat

yadda yadda yadda a valve was stuck open and not regulating
Sounds like something got left loose . Did the dealer by chance service the boat after your initial water test?

As long as this weekend goes great this will be the best boat I ever owned---wait a minute-- this is the ONLY Boat I have owned Yeah funny huh my hubby and I were always like "yeah we will get a nice little 19 ft bayliner one we can run into the doc and not worry about it" next thing I know I located a dealer with a Tige and we were sold-- what a bunch of suckers we are!! Well there is another way to become great captains--get a RZ2 and you will be real carefull pulling up to the docs!!! And so far so good-- I even am the one backing the trailer in (we have only gone like 4 times after work but hey practice makes perfect )

Ok I will try my best to explain ( I'm not a mechanic ) but what I got was--The O ring blew off the the oil filter. There was too much pressure built up? when they put a new oil filter on and tested the power after awhile the same thing happened for the dealership--so they called tige and they said to look at the valve that regulates the pressure??? Sure enough it was stuck wide open- anyways they said it was only a 30 $ part and after they put it in the went and ran the boat at the lake for an hour and said it ran fine ??? Lets hope for the best-- it just really sucked when we were getting towed in to the doc

Hey, your hubby's a lucky man...chicks that can back a trailer are way cool!

I've had my Tige almost 9 summers now and have loved every minute of it. We use it way more than my previous boat (not a bayliner, but close). You guys are not suckers but very discriminating buyers. You're gonna love your boat more and more each time you go out.

I want a new RZ2 so bad, but it's hard to justify when my current ride is still a pretty awesome boat.

That make perfect sense, there is pressure relief valve that is supposed to bleed off pressure and bypass the filter if it becomes plugged.

Have fun on your trip and good luck. Post some pics soon

Phhewwy that makes me feel better --like we don't have a broken boat. Thanks for all the compliments on the color and look of the boat-- we love navy and yellow ( we just got out of the navy ) so it is perfect for us-- and I will for sure post pics after the trip (and none of the kids tubing--I heard that was a no no )
