    Our New RZ2

Here it is---now for the drama, WE LOVE IT then our 5th hour owning it and first Friday on the water, 10 minutes in to lake we get the tube blown up the bimini top on (which by the way may be the only thing I am not diggin on the boat--kinda a a pain) Throw the kids out on the tube and then get blaring alarms my hubby looks down and sees the oil pressure light, we stop the engine lift up the cover and see oil everywhere in the bildge (is that what it is called?) so after swimming to shore, getting towed to the trailer and taking it back to the dearler 3 hours away--yadda yadda yadda a valve was stuck open and not regulating??? I dunnoo, but now the boat is back after nights of heartburn, we are headed down to a lake 6 hours away for the weekend and I am so nervous that something else will go wrong-- so I need a little pick me up tell me how great a boat tiges are and that they are the best and I should still be happy with my desicion on a tige and not that OTHER pickle fork brand!! UGGHHH so stressed!!
PS the guy in the photo works for the dealer- hope he doesn't mind

Welcome to the forum. Beautiful boat. Love my Tige, Had issues at first but dealer worked them all out. We have enjoyed 2 1/2 years of trouble free boating. Enjoy the boat. Life is too short to be stressing.
Don't mention tubing too loud, some members here do not understand what they are good for My kids love tubing at the end of the day. We popped 2 tubes last week on vacation. We go a little extreme at times. Again welcome.
      Let it be!!!

Great looking boat, welcome. We have a new 24Ve we bought in May. No issues. I wouldn't be nervous, thats why you got a new boat, so you have a warranty. If you have a problem, Tige should take care of it, and if they don't, we will all piss and moan for you too!

Yes, the bimini is a PITA, but it gets easier over time. I love the way the bimini works, and is strapless once its up, but pain to get up.

Also, a piece of advice, change your login name to something other than your email. There are web robots out there that scan pages for email address to spam. You will get hammered. Just make it heiditaylor3 or something. No big deal, just a suggestion.

We have been Tigé owners for 12 years. Our first was a '95 2002flsm that we sold this year and bought a brand new '07 22Vé. With that being said we have only had to leave the lake early twice b/c of a problem. The first was the impeller on our old boat. We didn't change it for 3 seasons and at the beginning of the third season.. bam impeller gone.

The only other time we have had a problem w/ our Tigé was last week after our dealer replaced the fuel sending unit, they somehow messed up the gasket and we had a fuel leak.. so it was a service technician problem, not a Tige problem.

So I guess the point I'm trying to make is that we have only had 2 mechanical problems on record in 12 years and 2 Tige's and neither of them were because of poor design. The first (impeller) is very typical if you don't replace it at least every other year and the second (fuel leak) was an install problem.

We LOVE our Tige's and have taken them to Powell twice, Shasta, Naci, San Antonio, etc, and haven't had ANY problems!

Sorry to hear about your oil problem and I'm glad to hear you got it fixed! I'm sure you will have an awesome care-free vacation!!

Congrats on the new Tigé! Looks sweet!

I'm liking it. Makes me want to go out and get an RZ2... The only downfall.... I would lose my butt off with the boat I already have. Maybe in a few years.

send a PM to Matt Garcia and see if he can change it. If not you might have to re- register with a new name.

Wow! Another Tige with issues right out of the box?!?!?

What is the deal with the Z tower and bimini? No straps in the front now, instead a pole?
