Thanks all, looking at the pictures, it's got an 'E' tower. Dealer is willing to come down to $53 but I still think it's high.

But, dihutchins pointed out that there are a few additional things on the boat. $5K for those does not seem unreasonable. So, $50K for a used boat seems like a great price. The dealer IMO, is trying to get a used boat for the price of a new boat.
When we were boat shopping we were looking at a 05 demo BU with 30 hr on it. They wanted 500 less then a brand new 06 BU. I told they guy he was nuts and went and got a Tigé

Ok, at $53K for the RZ2, you are getting a smokin' deal!

My dealer is quoting me $60K for a 22Ve and $70K for an RZ2.

But he does have a warranty that begins when he leaves the lot. That is worth a lot. In 1 year, if he goes to sell the boat, no one will ever know it was a demo boat,it just has the extra hours. According to your logic, if the dealer let it go at 45K, then the buyer could sell it in 1 year for 45K without losing any money. I suppose that there is no free lunch.
              Be excellent to one another.

Didn't think about the warranty in that figure. But, it's still a good deal IMO

How's $49,900 sound for a 22VE? Dealer in the Cali Bay Area has two left at that price. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/boa/397164570.html

How does that happen? We're a lot closer to Abilene than you guys are.

There is probably a huge markup on these boats. What the amount is..... Well, I have no idea but you know that the dealership that Razz is talking about isn't going to lose any money on that deal and I am sure they will make some profit.....

Well lets just say i happen to know just how big the mark up is on boats from one of the top mfgrs and it's HUGE! Most would be shocked to say the least, makes auto mark up look like nothing!

It should be. Remember we are dealing with disposable income, as well as look at the number of units sold between cars and boats.
