Well they offer some nice options that tigé dosen't, Raw water strainer, transom saver, binding blaster, towable covers, refrigerator,battery charger, tube inflator(of no use), heated seats

What are the "transom saver" and "binding blaster" options?

A piece of material that they either stick onto the transom or a cloth material that gets snapped to the area so the boards don't hit it.

They also offer a removable, short pylon with a nice billet snap in cover for the hole. This is a huge miss for tige...but has been covered in pasts posts... It is just a matter of time before somebody gets impailed or a cracked scull from slipping.

That was one thing I really liked about the Malibu. The pylon just turned and dropped down and was recessed. Very nice. I can't tell you how many times I have almost taken out my nuts coming in from the swim step.

Also, the nav light on the bu is reversible, so it also can go flush. Another nut obstacle if you have to go over the bow.

So what I am saying is that bu is much more NUT friendly than Tige.

Often times with VC's involved it's an estate planning move that doesn't affect management, just the transition of assets outside the estate...much like 'bu did a year or so ago. I'd be interested in reading about this ownership/entity change.

If I'm not looking at the correct article, or if there is more, I'd appreciate anyone's pointing me in the right direction.

Wasserstiein owns MC and I think that the MC management folks have formed their own LLC or Corp and are partnering with Transportation Resources Group and Charles Bank Capital...Roger Penske is an investor in TRP.

MC marketing director contacted me about the story. The source of the original article was not supposed to make it public. They politely asked (pretty please) to remove it until it is made public, and I felt obligated to do so. That dealer is supposed to be deleting that link immediately.

No it was the marketing director himself, I doubt an attorney would have been worth the cost to remove it from my little site.

On a side note, it is interesting to see how many first page top 5 links I am getting on google for certain searches.....Knowing google's workings pays off I suppose.
