Okay who can guess what this bolt is for. I am sure the person it has happened to will guess it. I will let go until you are all with trying to figure it out. Lets just say my boat is down for a while.
I hope that is not the bolt to one of the motor mounts...but if you put a quarter in the picture to let me see the size of the bolt, I might be better able to guess.

Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein
Need some scale in there but i'll guess it's the winch strap bolt???

Keep working on it. You guys are close. My wife did not want to admit somthing was wrong. She did not get here turn wakeboarding and I forced the shut down But I am sure glad I did. There is three other bolts just like it. IT IS NOT THE MOTOR MOUNTS.

It is the prop shaft coupler. I don't have time to fix it until Tuesday. That is to much down time at this time of the year. I will go and buy four new bolts at Budget bolt Monday and replace all four. What is wierd is I checked all that stuff four trips ago and it was all tight. Then four trips later they all come loose. Even I had a hard time thinking somthing came loose at that location because I checked it all not to long ago. Never assume that because you check somthing it is okay if all a sudden a problem arrises. Shut it down and check everything real good. If I had not shut it down we would of had a prop pushed into a rudder and no steering. Thus alot more damage. I count my blessings. This time when I replace all the bolts I will add a little lock tight into the mix along with the nylock nuts.

When I fix this I am going to check the motor mount bolts real good. I think that will be a worth while check.
Does anyone have Problems with the swim deck bolts coming loose. I have to fix that issue also. They come loose after about five or six hours of use. Again lots of locktight and two nuts I guess.
