    Pricing advice

I'm looking to sell my 2004 Switch I but don't know what price to ask. I've got 240 hours on the 335 Marine Power MPI, the boat has a Samson tower with lights, racks & speakers. It's got perfect pass Wakeboard Pro as well. A Tandem Extreme trailer. Boat is in good shape with some minor scratches on the sides of the hull and the back near the platform (from boards) Otherwise the bottom has no scatches as it has never touched the shore. Boat gets used almost every day but we live on a private lake so the hours are low.

Any ideas on price, I'm thinking $27K but the dealer says I may be able to get $32 which seems high to me. NADA says 27-31.

    I'm thinking about buying a new V drive either a 20 or 22.

If your dealer thinks it's worth $32K, see if he'll help you sell it. Maybe you can work in some kind of finders fee for him, but then at least you maybe able to do the whole trade-in thing and save yourself some taxes. If he thinks you're going to buy a new boat from him he may help.

Well, if the dealer can confirm that you can get $32K, I would go for it but I already know that they will not. NADA is a good price to stay around but here is someone else that is trying to sell his boat and the comments that he has gotten: http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/m...tml?1186513058

As for the 20V or 22Ve, IMO, I would go for the 22....

Yeah, I'd go with the 22Ve as well. That is one sweet ride!

Personally I would go with an RZ2 but I am kind of biased....

Start high if you aren't in a hurry to sell it, I did that with my last boat and was surprised to get so many responses because I thought I might be asking too much. You just never know what the market will bring. Start out at $32k and see what happens.

there is an 06 20i on onlyinboards for 32,900 it only has the 315 hp. i think 32 is a bit much as well but it wont hurt to list it and see if you get calls. hey maybe you list it for 32 someone offers you 28k and your golden. you can always drop the price if need be to generate calls. that link dabell listed is a great example. i just think 32 is high but you never know. because you do have some nice options on the boat. my two cents good luck.

Only problem right now is that you are running out of summer pretty fast. If you wait another month, you should expect to only find people out there looking for a steal. Most recreational boaters are going to stop looking in the next 30 days. School starts and the weather cools off. If you spend 3 weeks testing the market, you might as well wait until spring, or deduct how many payments you are going to make until May. So, my advice is to put it out there as quick as possible and at 32K. Unless you get plenty of calls, drop it after the first week.

              Where are you located?
              Be excellent to one another.

Right idea Tall. I bought my first Tige in September, sold it 2 years later in December, then bought our second in December. Top dollar is paid just before summer starts, good deals are found off season.
